"For you, there is no such thing as the impossible dream"
Kirk Nugent is one of the most brilliant motivational speakers I have ever heard. I highly recommend that each and every one of you watch this video at least 3 times. It is absolutely amazing.
We all have our ups and downs. We all need some inspiration from time to time. Watching motivational and inspirational videos like this one is only a positive thing.

Fight for kisses – commercial with a baby reminds us of dancing baby viral video

Most of us hate commercials. If it aint funny, sexy or extremely catchy we tend to switch the channel or look elsewhere on the screen pretty darn quickly. Successful commercials need to grab your attention very quickly. A smart trend that has emerged over the years is to use aspects of viral videos that have been successful on the web. The Numa Numa dance song was used by Geico and other good examples have surfaced.
A recent example of this is the cool and catchy commercial put out by Wilkinson for their razors.
Remember that extremely viral video with a baby dancing. It was so stupid and mind-numbing, but everybody with a pulse tended to smile and want to keep watching when one of their friends e-mailed it to them. This commercial uses a combination of that video’s cuteness with some popular movie themes such as the Matrix to make us smile and keep watching. It’s one thing to grab the attention of your audience, but if you can get them to share the video or talk about it (as I’m doing right now) then you have truly succeeded in your Internet marketing.
Kudos to Wilkinson razors on a great campaign yet I noticed one other crazy thing about this commercial. The link at the end points to a site which isn’t even up and running yet. It’s supposed to be a game, but instead there’s a simple server message stating “IT WORKS”. The truth is, it really did work.
Your five minutes of fame that stay on youtube forever – amazing baseball catch

Just about everybody wants to be a hero. It’s pretty much a fact a life. Some of us get our chance and sometimes we are fortunate enough to even grab it, but at the end of the day it usually becomes nothing more than a distant memory.
The web has changed this. If you’re really lucky enough to have your moment of glory idolized in the archives of the web then people may remember it for years to come. That’s the concept of the Numa Numa phenomenon. Call it luck or call it skill, it sticks in people’s minds and gets passed around the web for years to come.
I came across an amazing baseball catch today that wasn’t even by one of the players. You have to see it to believe it. This ball girl literally jumps a few feet into the air with the help of the wall and makes an incredible catch. After the catch, she goes back to her seat and the game continues. This is obviously a memory her and the thousands of fans at the game will never forget, but there’s one key point here: this video is available for anyone and everyone to see online. When people like you or me find it, we tend to share it and so the memory lives on. This is an incredible phenomenon. Sadly it can be good and bad (blooper videos are abundant) but it shows the power of online videos.
Enjoy this amazing catch:
David Beckham vs Kevin Garnett Adidas video

One of the best “home-made” commercial videos I have ever seen is the one in which David Beckham and Kevin Garnett are having a little one-on-one competition to see who can kick a soccer ball through a basketball hoop from a free throw style distance.
In case you aren’t into sports, David Beckham is one of the most famous soccer (AKA football in Europe) players in the world and Garnett is a basketball star.
It’s a fun video that looks like it was shot by one of us and as a result makes the whole experience seem more authentic. Beckham just happens to be wearing an Adidas shirt. The genius is the authenticity of the whole thing which makes us forget that it’s actually promoting a world famous brand for a commercial purpose.
Full marks to Adidas for creating this and putting it out there.

Another all-time YouTube classic is the catchy ventriloquist act video performed by Jeff Dunham. This video has been watched over 83 million times to date and is still going strong. The video promotes his website on which he sells the full length DVD. I am really not sure how many of these he has sold, but even if he hasn’t sold a single copy, you have to admire the visibility and name-recognition such a video brings. All you have to do is list this on your resume and then people can hit YouTube.com to verify the incredible popularity and see your skills.
The Numa Numa video put Gary Brolsma on the map; this video put Jeff Dunham on the map. Your video could put you on the map too. Don’t give up…

An online video that makes people laugh is a sure recipe for success. Take the video below as an example. This video has been viewed on YouTube over 76 million times. That’s SEVENTY SIX MILLION TIMES. Unbelievable!! Watch the video and you’ll have to admit that it’s cute, but you also have to admit that it’s really not that amazing. I guess the lesson is:
- Make them laugh
- Make it feel real and non-commercial
- A baby or kid never hurts

The need for viral videos

Gary Brolsma was mocked and even laughed at after Numa Numa went viral–but people needed that. People needed to laugh at something–because they can’t laugh at themselves. These viral videos are snapshots of daily lives. Yours, mine, your friends, and even people we don’t know. When a video finally goes viral it lets the world share just a few minutes with you. Gary was shocked at how many people were able to relate to his whimsical dancing. For the cubicle drones it was a moment of much needed laughter, for some, it was seeing someone break out of the norm. Numanuma.com believes in laughter and entertainment. We believe in you. We want your videos and your laughter. We want to share the moments that you capture with the world. There’s not judgmental eye here–just laughter and fun. Come visit us at www.numanuma.com and let the world spend a few entertaining moments with you.
