Amazing basketball shots – the Numa Numa of sports dudes

I stumbled across a crazy video on youtube.com with a bunch of guys doing insane backyard basketball shots. I really can’t tell you if this video is fake or not. I’d definitely like to believe that it’s fake, but a part of me wants to give them credit and say that they did enough takes to be able to actually pull off these crazy shots. Regardless, I think the shots are super cool and these guys are just too cool to ignore. The video is down by a crowd called ‘Dude Perfect’ and the music is way cool too.
Once again the web brings us a video that you can’t help but pass along to your buddies and colleagues. It’s that good old Numa Numa style viral video effect. The trick is what they have done beyond this video and whether they’ve actually monetized this or made a name for themselves through it. It’s cool enough for me to want to help promote them either way.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) trends

SEO has been a buzzword for many years now. At first people didn’t take it all that seriously because they felt like it was more smoke-and-mirrors than anything. It seemed like you’d have to pay somebody a lot of money (or get really good at it yourself) to work your site up the search engine rankings without the promise of actual returns. There was no direct way of proving that the SEO efforts were yielding the results as sites naturally work their way up the rankings anyway.
Over the past few years, the importance of SEO and the ROI of putting in the effort or spending the money on it has become more apparent. In light of this, we are highlighting some of the key trends in SEO for those that are interested in ramping up their efforts or becoming more knowledgeable in general.
The following are important SEO trends to look out for:
- Mobile search – the iPhone and other GPS enabled mobile devices have introduced the concept of location based mobile search
- Semantic SEO – This is the concept of being able to understand the underlying meaning of the words and links
- Organic SEO – real world organic SEO is ultimately just as valuable if not more so than PPC
- Social Media SEO – leveraging social media sites to establish visibility, credibility and backlinks
Watch for value SEO tactics and emerging trends in your bid to get ahead of the competition and get the most visibility on Google and other leading search engines and sites.
The Numa Numa Dance Song English Lyrics

It’s difficult to track down the actual lyrics of the song in English and lets face it, most of us can’t speak Romanian. Below are the lyrics in English:
Chorus (Sounds)
Miya-hee
Miya-hoo
Miya-ho
Miya-haha
Hello (on a cellphone), greetings, it’s me, an outlaw,
I ask you, my love, to accept happiness.
Hello, hello, it’s me, Picasso,
I sent you a beep (cellphone signal), and I’m brave,
But you should know that I’m not asking for anything from you.
You want to leave but you don’t want don’t want to take me, don’t want don’t want to take me, don’t want don’t want don’t want to take me.
Your face and the love from the linden trees,
And I remember your eyes.
I call you (over the phone), to tell you what I feel right now,
Hello, my love, it’s me, your happiness.
Hello, hello, it’s me again, Picasso,
I sent you a beep (cellphone signal) and I’m brave,
But you should know that I’m not asking for anything from you.
Not sure if these lyrics are actually that interesting. It’s actually the first part (the Miya-hee, Miya-hoo, Miya-ho, Miya-haha stuff) that’s really cool and catchy. You may not agree with me, but I personally don’t care much for the lyrics. I just love that catchy old tune.
The Numa Numa Dance Song makes you feel better

There’s no logical explanation for it. The numa numa dance song doesn’t have any magical meaning behind it. In fact most people don’t even know what the song means and can only sing the first part of the song and the chorus. Despite this fact, it’s still one of the most feel-good songs you’ll ever hear and of course the video goes a long way to making people laugh as well.
The first thing you’ll notice about the song is that the tune is incredibly catchy. If you haven’t listened to it before (or in a while), stop and watch this video now:
I’m willing to bet that even if you’ve watched the video before, you still paused to watch it again. Hell, I even just did, and you know I’ve seen it many times. So what is it about the video and the song that makes us all laugh and feel good? It’s the simplicity and the catchy-factor. We all lead hectic lives and even the richest, healthiest and best looking of us all have our problems. Most of the time we have to work through some serious issue or another and our minds are working overtime. That’s where the Numa Numa phenomenon comes into play. You literally shut your mind down for a while and enjoy some pointless and mind-numbing fun.
The numanuma song reminds us that life doesn’t always have to be so serious. Sometimes you gotta let go and live for the moment, or as the saying goes “Miya-hee, Miya-hoo, Miya-ho, Miya-haha”. Huh?
Napoleon Dynamite Numa Numa Dance

Napoleon Dynamite was a great movie. Excellent dialogue with some really funny scenes that were executed perfectly by Jon Heder who was the startof the movie. This guy was basically unknown before the movie and became a star overnight. Well maybe a “star” is the wrong term to describe Heder, but he did a good job and established himself as a good actor for the nerd-hero genre.
It’s somewhat ironic that there is a scene with Napolean dancing to the Numa Numa song. Numa Numa is known across the world as the phenomenon of viral videos that spread across the web like a crazy virus. A perfect opportunity to have your relatively unknown actor carry out a hilarious scene using this very song.
We’re going to be sharing a lot more classic numa numa videos, but this is one you will be laughing at for a long time because Napolean Dynamite is not the most graceful dancer in the world, but just like the Numanuma song, you can’t get it out of your head at the end of the day.
